Evert government, since the beginning of civilization, suffers the same problems of systemic degredation from within. It happened to the Egyptians, the Persians, the Romans, The French, The Brits and so on. The real challange the US faces is rooting out the corruption from within the system while dealing with external threats that promote, in fact desire, a complete failure so they may pounce on the USA.
